  • To introduce the participants to the basic ideas of interpersonal communication and to help them examine the ways in which they communicate
  • Examine behaviors that block communication and examine the skills that lead to effective listening
  • Introduce participants to the ideas and skills involved in reflective listening
  • Teach participants about assertiveness and how to become more assertive in their communications with others

  • Participants will know more about their strengths and weakness as communicators
  • Examine different models of communication
  • Participants would be aware of what interferes with effective communication and understand the importance eof attending skills
  • Participants will learn the skills of reflective communication
  • The participants will have examined the role of submissive, assertive and aggressive behavior in communication
