With profound sadness and sorrow, we, at Gaza Community Mental Health Programme, received the news of the passing away of the great man, Michael Adams.

Michael was a man of principles, who represented the free intellectual that fought hard and decently for enlightening public opinion about justice in our time. He was one of the most prominent voices defending the just cause of Palestinian rights. Michael Adams was a gentle soul and a kind man.

We were honored to have Michael as a member of the Advisory Board of GCMHP. He has been strong supporter of GCMHP activities and with his absence, Palestine and GCMHP will have lost a prominent advocate.

On this sad occasion, we, at the Gaza Community Mental Health Programme, wish to convey our respect and condolences to his family, his wife Celia, and his children Rosalind, David, and Paul for the loss of a great man. We wish them strength and courage, assuring them that we will always work to achieve Michael's dreams of justice and peace.
