Gaza Community Mental Health Programme Strongly Condemns Sharm El Sheikh Bombings
On the morning of 23 July, a number of bombings hit the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh, where more than 80 people were killed and more than 200 injured. The tragedy left feelings of sadness and anger as all of the victims are tourists or civilians working in the tourism industry. Gaza Community Mental Health Programme strongly condemns these terrorist actions that target civilians, and expresses the need for collective efforts to fight this evil and its roots worldwide. The murderers must be followed and brought to justice. It also emphasizes that these actions distort Islam and its values and principles, and cause great damage for the just causes of Muslims and Arabs in the world. In this sad occasion, GCMHP expresses its sincere condolences to the President and Government of Egypt, and to the families of all the victims, and wishes for the soon recovery for the injured.
