Graduation Ceremony for GCMHP's "Mental Health and Human Rights" Course for Security Personnel

On 24 May 2001, the graduation ceremony for the "Mental Health and Human Rights" course was held in the headquarters of the General Intelligence (GI) in Gaza City. 20 GI officers attended the course that was held at GCMHP from 15 April - 13 May 2001. The course covered 70 training hours on the topics of professional ethics of law enforcement officers, mental health, human rights, psychology of the victim, torture prevention, coping with stress, and the role of NGOs in preventing human rights violations.

The course is part of GCMHP's continuous efforts to improve the situation of human rights in Palestine through, among other things, raising the awareness of law-enforcement officers.
